I helped move equipment, set up catering tables, and helped the COVID safety coordinator check people's temperatures and maintain safety measures (this was late 2020). I also made sure cast and crew stayed hydrated, since it was a humid, 90+ degree day shooting inside a musty warehouse.

On these smaller shoots, my responsibilities were wide-ranging, working at different times as a gaffer, a caterer, or general assistant. I also ended up serving as an informal set photographer, taking photos every time and sending them to the director so he could use them for promotion on social media. After working with the director this many times, he also started using me as a sounding board on whether certain angles or lighting set-ups were working.
